Payment Policy for Pride of Africa Adventures & Safaris Limited
This page explains how and when to pay for your safari. It should be read alongside Section 4 of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Deposit
A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. The exact amount is shown on your written quotation and depends on the camps, permits, and flights involved — some peak-season and mobile-camp bookings require a higher deposit, or payment in full, due to strict supplier terms.
2. Balance Payment
The remaining balance is due by the date shown on your invoice — typically 60 days before departure. Bookings made within 60 days of travel are generally payable in full at the time of booking.
3. Accepted Payment Methods
- Bank transfer (details provided on your invoice).
- Major debit and credit cards, processed through a secure third-party payment provider.
- Other methods we may make available from time to time, confirmed with you directly.
We do not store complete card numbers on our systems. Card payments are handled entirely by our payment provider’s secure, encrypted checkout.
4. Currency
Quotations are typically issued in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Bank transfer fees, card processing fees, and currency conversion charges applied by your bank or card issuer are your responsibility and are additional to the quoted trip price.
5. Late or Missed Payments
If the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by you, in which case the cancellation charges in our Cancellation Policy will apply. Please contact us as early as possible if you anticipate a delay so we can try to assist.
6. Invoices & Receipts
A written invoice is issued for every booking, and a receipt is provided for every payment received. Please retain these for your records and for any travel insurance claim.
