Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire – Karatu
Your private guide meets you at your Arusha hotel or the airport. Drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive at your own pace — elephants, baobabs, giraffes and the birdlife of the Tarangire River — with a picnic lunch.
Late afternoon drive to the Karatu area in the Ngorongoro highlands.
Overnight
Overnight at a mid-range lodge in the Karatu area (upgrades on request).

Day 2: Karatu – Ngorongoro – Arusha
An early start puts you on the crater floor when the light is best and before most vehicles arrive. Game drive with a picnic lunch, then drive back to Arusha or to the airport for your onward journey.
