Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Trek begins through lush rainforest, gaining altitude to the first camp at 3,000m.

Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Trek out of the forest into moorland, with views of Kibo Peak, reaching Shira Camp at 3,840m.

Day 3: Shira Camp to Barranco Camp
Acclimatization trek via the Lava Tower (4,630m) before descending to Barranco Camp for the night.

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Tackle the Barranco Wall, then cross the Karanga Valley to Karanga Camp.

Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Short trek to Barafu Camp (4,673m), the final base before the summit push, with an early rest before the night climb.

Day 6: Summit Uhuru Peak & Descent
Overnight ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) for sunrise, then descend to Mweka Camp and onward to Mweka Gate.
