How much does this safari cost?

Prices are on request. Your quotation depends on your travel dates, group size and choice of accommodation — send us an enquiry and we will prepare a free quote for you.

Can I customise this itinerary?

Yes. Our safaris are tailor-made — we can adjust the number of days, the lodges and the activities to suit you. Tell us what you would like to change when you enquire.

What's included in this safari?

Highlights of the inclusions: park entrance fees, exclusive 4x4 safari vehicle, professional driver-guide, full board on safari, airport pick-up, boat ride. The full lists of what is and is not included are in the "What's included" section above.

How fit do I need to be for gorilla trekking?

You need reasonable fitness. Treks can take from one to several hours on steep, muddy forest paths at altitude. Rangers set the pace, and you can hire a local porter to carry your bag and help you on the steep sections.

Is there a minimum age for gorilla trekking?

Yes — Uganda Wildlife Authority only allows visitors aged 15 and over to trek. We can plan other activities for younger family members.

How far ahead should I book?

Gorilla permits are limited each day and sell out, especially in the drier months. We recommend booking as early as possible; we secure your permit as soon as you confirm.

What should I bring for the trek?

Sturdy waterproof hiking boots, long trousers and long sleeves, a rain jacket, gardening-type gloves for gripping vegetation, insect repellent, water and a snack. Flash photography is not allowed near the gorillas.
